Day 5 - The River
Hi everyone.
After gettin*on all our bikes, Mikey and I found out, that riding along the river "Doubs," which was scheduled for just about a couple of k's, is way cooler than starting another power-ascend up to the mountains again. So we threw all our plans overboard and decided to follow the Doubs until we meet the Soane and then the Rhone. However far we get until Saturday, I'll take a train South while Mike returns home...
The Doubs, however, is one of the most beautiful rivers we have ever seen. Now we made it to Besancon when Mike had a good Salmon and I the best Moule-Frites I have ever had in my life! (:-D

Day4 Le Thillot - L'Isle sur le Doubs
After a long and (again) tiring bike ride through the South End of the Voges, we finally met the "?" in the subject of the blog: my old buddy Fabi from Freiburg. He took the more convenient but not less adventurous transport: a motorcycle.

Day2 - a rainy day
Hi everyone.
After clumbing up to almost 1000m in a day with all our luggage, we had to realize, that consulting a topographic map would have helped a lot! However, first day in France was (partly) fun, despite of the unstable weather. Al least, from now on sun is predicted for the next couple of days...

Here we go...!!!
Hi everyone.
This is (so far) Mikey’s and Nick’s little picture travel blog. Follow our journey if you like but don’t expect too much of any lyrics, we’ll let the pictures speak…
Our trip will start on Saturday, Aug. 17th. Mikey will return a week later and I will (probably) “jump” from Genève to Valence by train where I will continue by myself...(?)
So, folks, stay tuned…
